Job Description Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic marketing team at Rocket Software, a leading global software business.

The Video Editor will be responsible for producing high-quality video content that aligns with our brand identity and communicates our marketing goals effectively. This role demands a keen eye for detail, creativity, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Video Production: Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a finished product suitable for broadcasting. Material may include camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics, and special effects.

Creative Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team and stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop video content that reflects the brand's objectives and audience's interests.

Post-Production: Manage all aspects of post-production, from editing video and sound files, adding music and correctives, to colour grading and rendering the final output.

Quality Control: Ensure all videos meet quality standards and are delivered in the correct formats for their respective channels, including social media, internal communications, and external marketing campaigns.

Video Library Management: Help to maintain an orderly and up-to-date catalog of brand videos on internal and YouTube libraries.

Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously from conception to completion under tight deadlines.

Innovation and Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in video production and editing technologies to enhance the visual and storytelling elements of video content.

Qualifications:

Higher education qualification in Film Studies, Cinematography, or related field.

Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio. Experience in corporate marketing or advertising is a plus.

Expertise in using video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.

Strong understanding of motion graphics and visual effects using After Effects or similar software.

Basic knowledge of sound design and color correction techniques

Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Creative thinker with attention to detail and an eye for quality.

Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Annual salary range for this position is between €31,767.00 - €58,995.00 gross before taxes.

Salary offer for the candidate is determined based on the predefined salary ranges for the position and depends on the level of competence and experience of the candidate.
