Consultant – Facilities management – North Asia (Japan & Korea)

APJC地域の重要な戦略的ビジネスパートナーとして、北アジア地域(日本および韓国)のファシリティをリードし、管理頂くポジションです。

APJCにおけるファシリティの最適な位置づけとなる戦略や機能を開発するために、ファシリティや その他のビジネスにおける主要なリージョンおよびグローバルリーダーとパートナーシップを組んで頂きます。

シンガポールを拠点とするAPJCファシリティ担当バイス・プレジデントの直属となり、APJCファシリティ・リーダーシップ・チームの一員となるポジションです。

仕事内容:

  • 施設設計の計画、建設から継続的なメンテナンスに至るまで、あらゆる側面を管理する

  • 設備、人件費、資材、その他関連コストの見積もりを含む、施設改修の計画、予算、スケジュール管理

  • 建物スペースの割り当てとレイアウト、通信サービス、設備拡張の調整を監督する

  • 施設運営と資本プロジェクトの予算を策定・管理し、同時に会社の成長と持続可能性の目標をサポートする長期計画を作成する

  • 関連する建築・安全規制や基準を常に把握し、チームメンバーと施設が環境・衛生・安全要件に準拠していることを確認し、必要に応じて改善指導を行う

  • 施設関連の経費を監視し、契約を承認し、予算の制約内で必要な商品やサービスを確保するための調達プロセスを管理する

  • グループの戦略的・運営的目標の達成に向け、他者の努力を指揮する

  • 継続的な点検とメンテナンスを通じて、施設の適切な機能を確保する

  • スペースと資産の在庫を管理する

  • 他のシニアリーダーと共に、施設の戦略的計画と目標の策定に参加する

  • 建築図面、危険識別、建築基準法、財務モデルに関する高度な知識を応用し、不動産および施設管理の領域における意思決定や問題解決に役立てる

  • 管理・運営事項の最終決定を支援し、運営目標の効果的な達成を保証する

  • シェアードサービスチームを管理し、他の地域チームと協力してグローバルプロジェクトを実施する

  • 地域内の他部門と連携し、施設間の良好な関係と理解を維持する

  • TFM契約とベンダーパートナーの管理

応募要件:

  • 15年以上のファシリティマネジメント業務経験、リーダーシップ、戦略・企画業務経験

  • ファシリティマネジメントの全ての側面、予算策定・管理、戦略立案、スペースプランニング、建設、EHS、事業継続、サイトレジリエンスに関する経験

  • EH&S手順、法規制、緊急事態への備え、請負業者の安全、環境、業務安全に関する知識

  • ビジネスレベルの日本語・英語スキルと高いコミュニケーション能力

  • プロジェクト報告書、戦略計画報告書、分析書の作成経験

  • マイクロソフトツールの使用経験

  • ファシリティ統合ワークプレイス管理システムの知識(スペースプランニング、リースモジュール、作業指示管理、プロジェクト管理)

Consultant – Facilities management – North Asia (Japan & Korea)

This position will be a key strategic business partner for the APJC region, leading and managing the North Asia region (Japan & Korea) facilities.

This role will partner with key regional and global leaders within facilities and other businesses to develop strategies and capabilities that best positions our Facilities in APJC.

Reports to the Vice President of APJC facilities who is based in Singapore, SG, and will be a member of the APJC facilities leadership team.

Role Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of facility design, from planning and construction to ongoing maintenance, while also ensuring adherence to budget and schedule requirements.

  • Plans, budgets, and schedules facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labour, materials, and other related costs.

  • Oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services and facilities expansion.

  • Develop and manage budgets for facility operations and capital projects, while also creating long-term plans to support the company's growth and sustainability goals.

  • Stay abreast of relevant building and safety regulations and standards, ensuring that team member and facilities comply with environmental, health, and safety requirements, and provide guidance on improvements as needed.

  • Monitor facility-related expenses, approve contracts, and manage procurement processes to secure necessary goods and services within budgetary constraints.

  • Directs the efforts of others in the achievement of the strategic and operational objectives of the group.

  • Ensures proper functioning of facilities through ongoing inspection and maintenance.

  • Maintains space and Asset inventories.

  • Participates with other senior leaders to establish facilities strategic plans and objectives.

  • Apply advanced knowledge of architectural drawings, hazard identification, building codes, and financial models to inform decision-making and problem-solving within the realm of real estate and facilities management.

  • Assists in making final decisions on administrative or operational matters and ensures operation(s) effective achievement of objectives.

  • Expert ability to read and understand facility related drawings.

  • Advanced knowledge of financial models, budgets, and disciplines within real estate.

  • Expert knowledge of Facilities Integrated Work Management Systems (Space Planning, Lease Modules, Work Order Management, Project Management)

  • Advanced knowledge of EH&S procedures, regulatory laws and regulations, emergency preparedness, contractor safety, environmental, and operational safety.

  • Advanced knowledge of business continuity and crisis management procedures.

  • Knowledge of EH&S procedures (Emergency preparedness, contractor safety, environmental and operational safety). For office and manufacturing environment.

  • Manages the shared services team and collaborate with other regional teams for implementation of global projects.

  • Aligns with other functions for the region to maintain good relationship and understanding between facilities.

  • Manage TFM contracts and vendor partners.

Essential Requirements

  • 15+ years of relevant Facility Management work experience, leadership, strategy & planning role

  • Manage all aspects of Facility management, develop & manage budgets, plan strategy, space planning, construction, EHS, business continuity & site resilience.

  • Knowledge of EH&S procedures, regulatory laws and regulations, emergency preparedness, contractor safety, environmental, and operational safety

  • Excellent Japanese and English-speaking & communication

  • Experience in preparing project report, strategy planning report and analysis

  • Expert in using Microsoft tools

  • Knowledge of Facilities Integrated Work Management Systems (Space Planning, Lease Modules, Work Order Management, Project Management)

  • May require frequent domestic or international travel to attend meetings or training programs, meet with subject matter experts, etc.
