  1. SUMMARY
  • Responsible for leading and driving new transitions and existing transitions for the addition of new services (migrating, improving and optimizing the business process into the KPC environment).

  • To ensure satisfaction of client expectations and that company processes and procedures are followed and maintained, which includes all aspects of personnel, relationships with the client, and detailed decisions to make the transition a success.

  • Responsible to work with management to identify new process improvement opportunities in the areas of quality, cost, process simplifications and performances.

  1. KEY DUTIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES

(i) Principal duties and accountabilities

  • Manage all tasks associated with initiating, planning, scheduling, executing, controlling transitions/projects.

  • Responsible for master project plan including project schedule, communications plan, change control plan, risk management plan, responsibility matrix, and cost control/tracking mechanism.

  • Monitor and tracks the transition budget for each project and provides periodic reporting of this information to the centre head.

  • Ensure that the appropriate level of support is available to the operations team and their clients during the transition cycle.

  • Create and maintain project issue log to track issues and ensure timely resolution.

  • Responsible for project communication specific to steering committee, stakeholders, project team members, external resources and senior management.

  • Facilitate and moderate project meetings including but not limited to project kick-offs, progress and issue resolution.

  • Train & develop delivery team, by leveraging HR resources and capabilities.

  • Work with technology teams (local IT, or MOA Finance), to ensure equipment and resources and tools are adequately available to support transition project needs.

  • Work closely with the operations teams, so as to ensure that production resources are adequately available to support transition project needs.

(ii) Typical problems and decisions required

  • The candidate must have excellent communication skills, and project management background to coordinate the project planning and transition the activities to the KPC, with a low-cost impact and timely manner.

  • Must be a self-starter, who understand the different eco-system in which he/she operates (cross-cultural environment, CMA CGM and APL).

  • Must have the ability to communicate verbally and in writing with personnel at various levels.

College / University, preferred IT and Financial background

(ii) Experiences

10+ years of professional experience in project management, IT project, transition.

(iii) Competencies

  • Execution, project management.

  • Stakeholder management, with strong communication and coordination skills.

  • Self-driven individual with strong focus in engagement management

  • Analytics and hands-on.

  • Proficient in analysing and reporting

  • Good working knowledge of MS Project and Visio

  • Very good written and verbal communications communicate with client over a telephonic call or personally at the client office (on-shore / off-shore)
