APL Logistics Executive- Marine Supply Chain in Singapore, Singapore

CMA CGM Logistics is the logistics arm of CMA CGM Group and provides freight forwarding and logistics solutions. CMA CGM Logistics is working with a large network of partners (carriers, inland operators, etc.) to develop customized solutions for its customers.

CMA CGM Logistics has offices in 37 countries and partners all over the world. CMA CGM Logistics can thus guarantee the full control of the supply chain. CMA CGM Logistics has really ambitious growth target and plan to develop its network by opening offices in key markets in the coming years.

We are currently developing CMA CGM Logistics activities in Marine Logistic and we are recruiting Logistics Executives (Marine Supply Chain) to lead our business locally.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage flow of materials between supplier and vessels in operation to ensure materials/ equipment are available in time

  • Oversee the requests of procurement team to ensure inventories meets the demands and expedite materials to prevent any shortages

  • Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws

  • Develop and monitor relationships with suppliers and network offices to meet both Quality on On-time delivery requirements

  • To ensure invoices/ accruals for all jobs are performed within agreed timelines and WIP files are closed timely

Profile

  • Minimum Diploma/ Degree in Supply Chain Management/ Logistics/ Maritime

  • 2- 3 years of experience in Marine Logistics or International Trade/ Transport/ Logistics

  • Profound knowledge of Sea freight, Air freight & Multimodal

  • Great skills in Quality and Project management

  • Fluent in English (bilingual / multilingual in the local language(s) is an added advantage

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook Express
