Mission

To organize, coordinate and manage control tower operations with the team in Singapore, as well as in France, Netherlands, Germany or any other countries where CMA Ships would have an activity.

Key responsibilities:

  • To design and implement the necessary SOP to operate this activity, from controlling the PO by vendors until they are delivered alongside ship

  • Monitor and implement permanent improvement plan to always provide best in class service at the minimum cost level.

  • Create and monitor KPI to drive the monthly and quarterly reviews with the customer, to make sure that mutual objectives are met.

  • Ensure that operations under your management are supporting other CMA CGM Log offices needs and actively seek support from the network.

  • Locally develop procurement solutions with your operations teams.

  • Responsible for expense management and reporting financial performance to HQ.

  • Lead and develop dedicated and highly professional operational team, including manage performance reviews, coaching and team building

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum post-graduate degree holder

  • At least 5 years of experience in logistics, transport and freight forwarding industry, with international business environment

  • Experience in Marine logistic management is an added advantage

  • Good strategic and planning skills

  • Proven track record in people-management as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Customer-focused and results-oriented.

  • Fluent in English (bilingual / multilingual in local language(s) will be an added advantage

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook Express
