What You Can Expect

This position is responsible for supporting product related activities for a Zimmer Biomet product portfolio. This position is involved with providing product service information to customers including distributors, associates, physicians, nurses and internal personnel regarding product lines. In addition, this position is responsible for supporting downstream marketing to drive growth of the portfolio and achieve business goals for the company.

How You'll Create Impact

  • Support downstream management of our existing portfolio in order to drive growth and increase market share.

  • Analyze product, market, sales, usage and clinical trends to help identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.

  • Support the new product development organization to drive upstream new product introduction processes. This includes creating HCP and sales supporting materials, developing hands-on demonstration material and supporting the team on the project.

  • Provide support to execute launch plans for new products to include forecasting product demand, establishing pricing, defining product positioning, organizing a rollout plan, conducting sales team and surgeon training, and developing marketing collateral.

  • Develop annual sales and marketing strategies to drive usage of products.

  • Act as communication conduit between home office functions and the sales team. Ensure smooth, timely and accurate two-way flow of information in the following areas; product, clinical and technical information; regulatory updates; surgeon thought leader training and development; sales training; competitive updates; conventions and meetings; compliant medical education events.

  • Provide sales support for questions related to product, clinical, promotional and competitive information.

  • Support electronic based training for internal and external customers.

  • Support sales training materials to in-house and regional training classes.

  • Attend tradeshows, workshops, and labs to represent company and support new product initiatives.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree with 0-3 years of experience required. Combination of education and experience will be considered.

  • Medical device experience preferred.

  • Strong analytical / quantitative skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, demonstrated strength in interdepartmental partnering and team management, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and strong PC skills (excel, power point).

Travel Expectations

  • This position requires up to 40% travel, both domestic and international.
