Microsoft Corporation Senior Finance Manager in Redmond, Washington

Microsoft's Device Market Intelligence team is looking for a Senior Finance Manager to lead external market intelligence relationships, compete earnings coverage, forecasting, strategic compete insights, and more. Device Market Intelligence is a unique team within the Windows + Devices finance organization, focused on delivering insights on the overall PC and devices market. Responsibilities

  • Lead coordination of external market intelligence relationships

  • Support earnings coverage of various competitors and industry coverage, bringing actionable insights back to the broader org

  • Participate in forecasting and insights, characterize headwinds and tailwinds facing the business,understand compete pressures and strategies, work with business partners to identify opportunities to grow Windows share

  • Work on various ad hoc projects to enhance device market insights

Qualifications

  • Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership, finance, or related field

  • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to effectively prioritize across multiple workstreams with attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Proven ability operating in ambiguous settings while generating clarity and bringing partners along. Courage to share opinions and influence decisions

  • Solid analytics and structured thinking, reinforced by proficient excel modeling skills

Financial Analysis IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $72,800 - $144,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $95,100 - $157,900 per year.
