We are currently seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Energy Team in any of our offices across the UK.

You will become an important part of our geotechnical team, providing highly specialised expertise to internal and external clients. You will support the delivery of a wide portfolio of projects in the Energy sector and collaborate and work closely with our multidisciplinary engineering and design teams while providing support and advice to the contractors we are working with.

You will lead and manage projects from inception to completion, and perform geotechnical site investigations, including data collection and analysis. You will provide expert advice on foundation design, slope stability, and other geotechnical challenges will preparing technical reports, presentations, and specifications.

You will play an important role in our team and mentor and guide junior engineers. We care about your development and there will be many opportunities to progress your own career.

About You

You will hold a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology or a related subject. Ideally you will be a chartered member of a relevant institution such as the ICE or Geological Society.

You will have experience preparing geotechnical desk studies, conducting ground investigations, factual and interpretive ground investigation reports, and geotechnical design reports; conducting site inspections; and will have experience undertaking geotechnical analysis of structures.

Most importantly, you will have a passion for delivering quality geotechnical solutions to our clients, which will be critical to your success.
