A fantastic permanent has become available in our Corporate Clients Customer Service Division for an enthusiastic individual to join their busy team! Reporting to the Corporate Clients CS Manager, the main responsibility of this role is to provide excellent customer service to corporate key clients and ensure that services agreed in the tender are provided. Working closely with Imports, Exports, Corporate clients and Operations teams, the successful candidate will play an integral part in providing effective service to corporate clients. This is also an opportunity for multi tasking import and export customer service which includes receiving bookings, export shipments and following relating export requirements.
In this dynamic role, your responsibilities will be –
Be the first point of contact for nominated global clients ensuring excellent customer service for import and export shipments including receiving export bookings and related duties for corporate clients.
Liaise and coordinate with various internal departments such as Imports, Exports, Global Accounts, Operations, Cargo Administration and others as necessary to ensure a prompt and efficient service is provided
Ensure Corporate Clients queries are responded in a timely manner.
Liaise with terminals, depots, railhead, etc to facilitate smooth delivery of cargo.
Prepare weekly/fortnightly/monthly KPI reports for corporate clients as agreed in the tender.
To be successful in this role, you MUST have -
Australian citizenship / permanent residence.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to foster relationships with customers.
Ability to multitask and prioritise.
Strong organisational and administration skills.
Strong computer skills.
Excellent telephone manners with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Previous Customer Service experience preferably in the shipping/freight forwarding industry is desirable but not mandatory.
