HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors in Wilmington, CA is looking for a Driver to join their safety conscious team! As a Class A Driver w/ Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements you will be responsible for transporting equipment/materials to multiple site locations. The Driver will need to complete single task jobs requiring one crew and completes turnarounds with management oversight at client’s site in accordance with client and business requirements and company policies, practices, and procedures. TWIC card preferred. Must drive manual transmission.

• Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;

• Ability to operate the following units: Box Trucks, Tankers, Guzzlers and Flat Beds.

• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports, and complies with all other vehicle policy and DOT requirements.

• May transport equipment and personnel to and from customer locations.

• Assist with Field Technician duties as required.

• Provide general maintenance in the field.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Class A CDL, no restrictions, must drive manual transmission.

• Tanker Endorsement, required.

• Hazmat Endorsement, required.

• Airbrake Endorsement, required.

• TWIC Card Required

• Previous experience driving Class A/B trucks, preferred (Tankers, Box Trucks, and Flat Beds)

• Previous environmental/field service industry experience is an asset.

• Must be able to wear protective clothing or equipment. This includes, but is not limited to Nomex coveralls, back belt, slicker suits, rubber boots, a fresh air breathing mask and escape pack and a hard hat.

• Must be able to work under extreme climate conditions (excessive high heat index of 95+ degrees Fahrenheit, 98% humidity and subzero weather conditions) relative to geographic location.

• Must be able to withstand exposure to dust, chemical and environmental, fumes (chemical and fluids), exhaust and highly pressurized fluids.

• Lift 50 lbs.
