Adecco is currently assisting local clients in the Long Beach area with CNC Machine Operators . Pay rate ranges from $23-28/hr. DOE. These are long-term positions with the possibility of hiring on for the right candidate.

Essential Functions :

• Good communication skills and ability to work with supervisors, managers, and coworkers.

• Ability/Availability to work extra hours when required.

• Excellent blue-print reading skills

• Good use of standard measurement tools

• Good trigonometry and other math skills

• 3 years minimum CNC experience on mills including setup and operation

• Ability and experience to operate various types of CNC and manual equipment.

• Abiding by all safety regulations and Company policies

• Completing any given job at, or below, the estimated hours - including setup.

• Effectively managing tooling including fixtures, inserts, holders, and specialized tooling.

• Keeping work area clean and organized

• Minimizing scrap and/or rework

• Maintaining the preventative maintenance of the CNC mills/lathes

• Operate other CNC or manual equipment when the CNC mills/lathes are not needed

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 5 years lathe experience; 3 years on CNC Mill/Lathe

2. Blue print reading skills

3. Able to setup and run concurrent jobs on multiple machines

4. Able to use standard measuring equipment such as micrometers, comparators

5. Strong Shop math skills

6. Able to work to metric dimensions

7. Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and ISO quality systems.

8. Forklift Certification is a plus

Non-Essential Functions :

Perform other duties as assigned by management

Education:

Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience :

Minimum 3-5 years machining experience on CNC Mill/Lathe equipment.

Hours Required:

As needed to complete the job responsibilities. Overtime to be approved by management

Payrate: $23- $28/ hr.

Schedule: 1st 6:00a - 2:30p M-F

2nd 2:00p - 10:30p M-F (OT as needed on Saturdays 7:00a - 12:00p)

Pay Details: $23.00 to $28.00 per week
