APL Regional eCommerce Assistant Manager - CMA CGM - Le Havre - H/F in Le Havre, France

Under a Manager of eCommerce Regional Office Europe, Your daily work will consist in a regular contact with European agencies (42 countries) to assure the efficient deployment of eCommerce products as well as provide a necessary support to agencies to solve their issues and answer they queries related to eCommerce.

The eCommerce Assistant Manager will cover a scope of countries defined by the Director of Regional Office.


Commercial axis:

Within a scope of countries defined by Director of eCommerce Regional Office Europe shall perform:

eCommerce product promotion & marketing

  • Promote existing eProducts

  • Deploy new products

  • Local promotion campaign performance

  • Verify promotion actions of the Agencies

  • Adjust marketing materials to regional needs

  • Provide deployment tips to Agencies


  • Monthly reporting to agencies

  • Report to HO in Marseille

  • Presentation to GM of Agencies on yearly objectives

  • Report to a Director of Regional Office process and task transfer to DQ


  • Participate in trainings from HO

  • Request trainings from HO

  • Perform training to Agencies

  • Define deployment process (pilot phase)

  • Apply deployment process

  • Adjust deployment process to local needs

  • Perform training to Local VIP

  • Experience sharing with SKU

  • Share training materials

Local website

  • Support local website contacts in contact with the HO in Marseille

Functional axis:

Support a functional team member on the following activities:

Market recognition:

  • Identify market opportunities

  • Verify the conformity of eProducts to local market requirements

  • Verify technologic trends in local markets and pushing solutions to Head of Regional Office

  • Assign priorities on those change request based on CMA CGM commercial interest

Functional support and technical training:

  • Analyse customers’ needs that can be fulfilled through eCommerce solutions

  • Provide expertise on both direct EDI functionalities and web products offered by eCommerce

  • Report to HO on product adjustments needs (corrective actions and evolution requests)

  • Report and handle when possible emergency technical issues functional

  • Analyse operational errors and assess changes requested on IT system

  • Prepare business cases for IT system changes and log them as a request to HO

  • Local websites management (for both APL and CMA)

Data analysis:

  • Analyse products developments and progress within Agencies

  • Extract and treat data allowing further development of Digital Agency products (specific reports etc)

  • Create necessary analysis depending on department needs


  • Master's degree

  • At least 3 years of management experience

  • Fluent in spoken and written French & English (other European language will be an advantage)

  • Proven computer literacy Excel (knowledge of VBA highly appreciated), Power Point, Outlook and web tools

  • Client oriented approach with ability to maintain good commercial relations

  • Ability to work in a team and in a multicultural and multi-project context

  • Dynamic, organized and accurate
