We are currently looking for a Transportation Specialist to join our Operations team.

Location: Gebze, Kocaeli

Type of contract: Permanent

As a Transportation Specialist, you will have the following responsibilities;

• Follow daily orders, organize with Customer Supply Chain and 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) to deliver the orders timely

• Organizing the delivery of stock transfer orders by working hand in glove with DRP

• Create, Organize, and share route table with all related parties (Eg, Distribution, CSC, Sales etc.)

• Follow the spot delivery orders, negotiate with the carrier companies to get the best price and complete the operation.

• On time reporting all transport related KPIs and inform the related parts in the team.

• Understand the root causes of the problems by using NCE methodology.

• Utilize our tools (SAP , Excel etc.) to create and plan shipments 

• Ensure internal and external stakeholder’s requirements being respected

• Ensure compliance with operational cut-offs 

• Be cost and service level driven

• Guarantee the achievement of KPIs based on agreed timings

• Create a strong connection with Warehouse, DSP, Customer Supply Chain and Sales

• Being involved in continuous improvement activities (new projects, new developments…)

• Challenge yourself to improve your job and develop new skills

Which profile are we looking for?

• University degree

• Fluent English

• Analytical Mindset

• Min 3-4 years logistics, transport, Warehouse and planning experience

• Previous experience in Logistics Operations is a plus

• SAP Skills is a plus 

• Advanced MS Office Skills (e.g. Excel, Power Point..)

• Logistics process and product knowledge

• Problem solving ability

• Basic finance knowledge

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

• Pragmatical and fact-based mindset

• Capability to work in team

• Proactive and curious person 

• Ability and interest in working in a fast pace and rapidly changing environment
