Description

Do you possess excellent communication abilities and strong data entry skills? Robert Half is seeking personable Customer Service Representatives to assist our clients in the Eugene area. The Customer Service Representative will receive and process incoming calls from customers in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner and maintain solid customer relationships by handling questions and concerns with care and speed. The Customer Service Representative will communicate with other departments within the company, respond to internal questions and issues, and review and process documents. This position also may require research skills to troubleshoot customer problems and may act as support for other teams within the company.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and courteous manner.

  • Provide accurate information about products, services, and company policies.

  • Assist customers in troubleshooting issues and resolving complaints effectively.

  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions in the CRM system.

  • Process orders, returns, and exchanges following established procedures.

  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure prompt resolution of customer issues.

  • Identify and escalate complex cases to the appropriate department.

  • Continuously update product knowledge to deliver accurate information to customers.

  • Follow communication guidelines and maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude.

  • Strive to achieve individual and team performance targets.

    Requirements

  • Proven experience in a customer service or related role.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a patient approach.

  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing processes and procedures.

  • Empathetic and customer-focused mindset.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
