Banking Treasury Cash Management Specialist (Reports to Director of Cash Management Sales)

Remote Position after 2-3 Weeks of Training Onsite

Possess a high level of knowledge and understanding of the Cash Management (CM) products and services offered to commercial clients. Assist the CM sales staff in servicing new and existing commercial customers by providing professional, courteous, and efficient customer service.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Cash Management Sales to onboard new client relationships; meet with new clients to gather information required to establish accounts and products; perform necessary activities within Bank systems to implement agreed upon accounts and products; perform quality control tasks to ensure accuracy of implemented accounts and products by verifying what was proposed by the Bank and accepted by the Client; schedule and deliver training to clients on how to access and utilize established accounts and products; create and deliver new client information to Electronic Services for ongoing client support. Work closely with Sales, Electronic Services and Business Support, as required, to maintain existing client accounts and products. Lead recurring meetings and provide reporting on progress and status of all new client onboarding and existing customer maintenance including any outstanding, required documentation or information.

• Develop and manage a complete portfolio of competitive cash management products; assist in establishing profitable product pricing that is reasonably competitive in the market; ensure product profitability by analyzing product cost versus product income; make recommendations to keep the Bank’s profitability in line with expectations; perform competitive market analysis, working with the Marketing Department, to ensure the CM product suite is ahead of or keeping up with the competition.

• Research and provide information on the latest technology along with recommendations for projects; manage projects, releases, and service pack releases to ensure success; manage vendor relationships and vendor documentation; ensure accurate billing from vendors; collaborate with vendor Application Support to provide data that summarizes product activity, progress and profitability turning that information into actions to enhance business strategy and execution.

• Communicate across the organization regarding issues, projects, and products; provide ongoing training on products and basic tenets of cash management; participate in conferences, seminars and user groups as required.

• Participate in testing of cash management products for reasons not limited to annual BCP testing; Bank system patches, refreshes or upgrades; and system conversions. Report on any findings during testing, assist in remedying issues as necessary and ultimately, own responsibility for ensuring deficiencies is corrected by parties responsible for applying fixes.

• Coordinate specific work tasks with personnel from applicable departments to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information; report pertinent information to immediate supervisor; compile information as necessary or directed and provide data to appropriate Bank personnel; respond to inquiries relating to the specific area and requests from customers, other Bank personnel, etc., within given time frames and established policy.

• Attend regularly scheduled coaching and counseling sessions held by supervisor to achieve the outcome of improved communication, action plan development, positive feedback, and performance improvement.

• Abide by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment that is free of sexual harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace, support risk management practices and overall safety and soundness and the Bank’s compliance with all regulatory requirements. Ensure that the department and all personnel adhere to the same; perform tasks that are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job which may be altered or redesigned depending on individual circumstances. • Regular and predictable attendance; perform other duties as assigned or directed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

• Minimum two (2) years of experience in developing, managing, and pricing CM products.

• Excellent verbal and written communication, mathematical, analytical, computer, troubleshooting, problem resolution and interpersonal relations skills; thorough working knowledge of CM products; meet qualifications, and successful performance of essential duties, of a Cash Management Specialist I and II.

Travel Requirements:

Remote with training in office on site for 2-3 weeks, company to pay travel expenses. W2 $45-55 an hour DOE. 4 months Contract, with high probability that it will extend.

Salary range $45-55/hr W2. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
