Carrington Recent College Grads-Collateral Trade Analyst in Anaheim, California

Recent college grads to join our collateral team. In this role you will be responsible for reviewing collateral exception reports from custodians to clear document and data exceptions in support of loan file transactions; which include: obtaining missing, incorrect or unrecorded mortgage, note, Bailee letter, modification, corporate assignments and intervening assignments. Coordinates with business units and custodian vendors relating to file tracking, reporting, training and compliance. Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. The target pay range for this position is $21.00-$22.00 an hour.

What you do:

  • Analyze multiple clients reporting for performance and business strategy.

  • Prepares monthly and ongoing reporting to senior management on projects and business processes.

  • Act as point of contact and escalation for document transaction resolution.

  • Ensure pull through of monthly volume is met based on projections.

  • Prepare collateral related documentation, report preparation and tracking.

  • Provide training support to team and business process.

  • Resolve and correct missing, incorrect, unexpected, unrecorded, illegible, damaged, or otherwise unusable documents required in a mortgage collateral file.

  • Knowledgeable with MERS registered loans and effect on Assignment chain

  • Track and monitor file location and movement using database systems.

  • Handle basic administrative activities and specific functions; (indexing, imaging, scanning.)

  • Ensure service standards, policies, procedures and are adhered to and client needs are met.

  • Perform routine administrative operations, and/or services support tasks.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree- Finance or Accounting.
