SOS International LLC (SOSi), is seeking a Share Point Capability Lead to join our team in Aberdeen, MD. This person will provide leadership and guidance to a large SharePoint/SPO administration and development team that is geographically dispersed. In this role, you will play an key part in delivering information management solutions to our government customer.

Essential Job Duties

• Demonstrated ability to manage development tasks and resolve conflicts in a very high operational tempo.

• Requires outstanding writing and documentation skills, and in depth understanding of how technical decisions impact customer requirements.

• Knowledge of the SharePoint farm architecture and installation process

• Familiarity with all the functionality of the Central Administration web application

• Shared Services functions, including managed properties, content sources, crawling, profiles and how they interface with the other parts of the SharePoint farm.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or Information Systems, or Engineering, or Business, or related scientific or technical discipline.

• Candidate must have experience in large scale implementations of SharePoint/SPO.

• Experience with agile, sprint, scrum software development methodologies.

• Broad knowledge of Windows networking and authentication.

• Certification: Microsoft Certified Professional: Core Solutions of Microsoft SharePoint Server or, Microsoft Office Specialist: SharePoint

• Extensive experience with Windows Server administration, SQL Server Database administration, IIS Manager architecture, Server Manager, Active Directory (including LDAP queries), DNS, Simple Mail Transfer Protocol, Network Load Balancing, Windows Firewall, Event Viewer and Performance Monitor, and Powershell scripting, SPO, Project Online

• Significant experience and knowledge in software and systems analysis, design, project lifecycle methodology, system integration, implementation and deployment

• Active Secret Clearance.

Work Environment

• Working conditions are normal for an office environment.

• Working on-site on a military facility in Aberdeen, MD.

• Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.

• May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable).
